Welcome to Cinova. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Cinova LLC. By creating an account or using Cinova, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Cinova (the "Service") is a social movie- and TV-discovery app operated by Cinova LLC, a Maryland limited liability company ("Cinova," "we," "us," or "our"). Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cinova. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Cinova only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.
"Your Content" means anything you create or share on Cinova — including ratings, reviews, notes, lists, comments, your profile, and other materials.

Cinova is a social product. You may interact with content and people you don't know. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or for content they post. Use good judgment, and report content or behavior that violates these Terms.
Movie and TV metadata, images, and ratings shown in Cinova are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. That content belongs to its respective owners and is subject to TMDB's terms.
The Service itself — including the Cinova name, logo, design, software, and the Cinova Score and recommendation features — is owned by Cinova LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without our prior written permission.
If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, you grant us a free, unrestricted right to use them without any obligation to you.
You download Cinova through third-party app stores (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play). Your use is also subject to that store's terms. This agreement is between you and Cinova LLC only — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or its content, and they have no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You may stop using Cinova and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT RECOMMENDATIONS OR RATINGS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CINOVA LLC AND ITS OWNERS AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR USD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cinova LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Cinova after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Maryland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not otherwise resolved, except where prohibited by applicable law.
